Whatever…

January 30th, 2008 by mendokusai-onna

Sigh. I’m tired.

As per my previous 2 posts, I’ve made my boss mad, my boss’s girlfriend mad. And it’s totally my fault. That I won’t deny.

All because of some goddamn front seat.

Well that was my fault, so not gonna whine about it.

I’ve already explained myself in his blog, and further explained what REALLY happened in this blog, and I’ve also apologized, SINCERELY. and there’s nothing more I can do. The rest is up to them. Let them misunderstand all they want. To forgive or not to forgive. Either way I’m fine with it, and frankly, I’m kinda tired of explaining while apologizing non-stop. What’s done was done. Might as well live with it.

Time to go marathon some animes. La la la la la la la la la~

ps: lovely weather today. Kinda hungry, though. =o
pss: yay, most of my friends coming back this friday~ Don’t care if they’re still mad at me… just seeing them will be enough. heh.

I’m depressed.

Edo’s mad at me.

I’m a fucking retard, and I’m depressed.

/me crawls out throat and dies.

MAGe… What happened before, and after.

January 26th, 2008 by mendokusai-onna

Everything went wrong.
But it’s best to start with what was supposed to happen… but went wrong.

Leo-chan and I bought the 8am bus tickets for Terminal 1 Seremban a few days ago. We were to hop on this bus, got to the KTM station at 9.30am, and immediately hop onto the train to Nilai in order to catch the 10.30am shuttle bus towards Nilai College for MAGe Festa. At 6.15pm, we were to catch the shuttle bus back to Nilai KTM station, grab a KTM back to Seremban, reach there at approximately 6.45pm, have some light dinner, and wait for the 7.30pm bus to fetch us home.

But NO. Everything went wrong since morning.

I told the guys I’m fetching to wait for me below IXORA at 7.30am. Max will be 7.40am. Sigh. We left at 7.48am. I drove like mad (120km/h) to Sentral, and managed to reach the place at 8.02am, just to find the bus to Seremban wasn’t there. Fuck. We decided to wait a bit before buying the 9am bus. Just as we were about to give up waiting, the bus arrived. It was 8.30a.m.

We then reached Seremban’s Terminal One at 10.00am. We practically jogged to the KTM station, just to find the next train to NILAI already there. We hurriedly queued up for the tickets, all the time praying that the train will wait for another 2 minutes. But shit happens. There was this blasted woman who bought a whole lot of fucking tickets, and taking her own sweet time digging through her purse for change. We waited. Then there was this blasted guy who bought a ticket to UKM, and tried to feed the machine a RM10 note. He must be blind to not notice the "Sila bayar secukupnya. Tiada tukar." sign on the machine. The security guard told him off. Finally it was our turn. We hurriedly fed the machine RM9.20. The train was starting to wail. Oh fuck.

We ran to the ticket barricade, BUT ALL of the bloody barricades just had to stop working, leaving only ONE available. So, everybody was like queing up for that ONE pathetic barricade. The train was starting to shut the doors. Oh fuck. When all of us were through, we ran to the train, and the train started moving. FUCK.

We had no choice but to wait for the next train to arrive. When it DID, it was already 10.35am. Bye-bye, shuttle bus. We reached Nilai KTM station at 10.55a.m. Grabbed a cab, and told the driver to get us to Nilai College. The journey was RM10.

Thankfully, the MAGe’s opening was delayed. So we didn’t miss the Opening Ceremony. We left MAGe at 6.15pm. As scheduled.

BUT. BUT. BUT…

The shuttle bus driver, being so brilliant, just had to stop and pump petrol. I nervously checked the time. It was 6.40p.m. I prayed the traffic will be smooth-flowing. NOT. The traffic was congested like hell. We reached the gawddamn station at 6.55p.m. Again, the train to Seremban was already there. By the time we bought our tickets, the train left. OH FUCK. I stared at the clock, willing the next bus to come immediately with all my might. Of course, the train had to be late. By the time the train arrived, it was already 7.12p.m. Remember that the journey from Nilai to Seremban is approximately 30minute? =D yep.

We reached Seremban’s KTM station at 7.35p.m. Ran like mad outside and hailed a cab to Terminal One. It was bloody RM5, but at that time, I couldn’t care less. All I wanted was just to get on the goddamn 7.30pm bus. Oh, did I mention that the 7.30pm bus was the last bus to Melaka? Yep. We reached Terminal One at 7.40pm. Of course, the bus was long gone.

You see, if I had told my parents that I’d be in Seremban the whole day, I wouldn’t have cared less what time I reached home. But, brilliantly, I didn’t tell them. I thought the plan was fool-proof, I thought the plan was totally safe, that I can get back before 10p.m. So, naturally, I DID NOT inform my parents.

Reality: I’m stuck in Seremban, with no transport whatsoever back to Melaka. I’m doomed. At 1st, I was trying to get the rest of the guys to grab a cab, just so I can be back in Melaka by 12a.m., but no, the cab’s expensive, and it was kinda unsafe to travel by cab at night, to be honest.

NaviX decided to call Edo. Oh my gawd. Edo’s like all the way in KL. But… Edo really came for us. He came all the way from KL just to pick us tramps in Terminal One, Seremban, back to Melaka. Oh my gawd. Naturally, he’s not very happy with it. T.T

Just to make matters worse, my car’s still in Sentral, and MMU is much nearer from the highway, compared to Sentral. Which means, I had to ask him to drop the rest of them in MMU, then all the way to Sentral just so I can get my car back. I was THAT desperate.

Edo, I honestly OWE you a hell lot. T.T

Now, I’m in a state of total depression. I made my boss mad at me for driving us to Melaka, and driving me to Sentral; I made my parents bloody pissed at me for not informing them that I was out in Seremban. Everybody’s pissed at me. T.T

I KNEW I should’ve just drive to Seremban and save all the trouble.

/me just wants to crawl in a hole and die.

PS: To Edo, really sorry about yesterday. We all owe you one, and me especially. If not for me, we wouldn’t have had to trouble you at all. Honestly really sorry. And also, thanks for willing to come save us in Seremban.

HONTO NI ARIGATOU GOZAIMASHITA!!!!!

/me bends on all four and bows head repeatedly.

And so I went to court…

January 21st, 2008 by mendokusai-onna

I hate you, bloody, pompous, governmental officials. I hate you.

As per my previous post, my dad received this summon to court today, 9a.m. Not wanting to have a sticky ending, I was early for once. I arrived at the Mahkamah Majistret (Majlis Bandaraya) at 8.40a.m. O.o With my dad.

So yeah, the building was open. Surprisingly. Me walked in with dad, and approached the counter which says "bayaran kompaun boleh dibayar di sini". I showed that malay woman my (dad’s) slip. Without even taking it, and looking properly, she pointed upstairs. So, I went upstairs. And I approached the counter which says "semakan kompaun boleh disemak di sini". I showed that malay woman my (dad’s) slip. She took a look at it, pointed downstairs.

… What the fuck? I think I actually said "what the fuck" out loud. Anyway, I told her that I was just told my another malay woman to come upstairs. And she told me, "bukan bukan bukan, pergi situ jurubahasa kaunter."

So I went downstairs, to the "jurubahasa kaunter". I showed yet another malay woman my (dad’s) slip. She started shuffling through some papers, and told me to wait for a bit for the "jurubahasa" to come. So I waited. 45 minutes. I waited. And waited. And waited.

FINALLY the "jurubahasa" came. After taking a look at the slip, she told me to proceed to the courtroom and wait for the "judge" to come. So I went to the courtroom and waited for the "judge" to come.

OOT: Being a law student, I’ve always wondered how it was like being inside a courtroom. Whee. Now I finally get the chance. However, to my disappointment, it was nothing but meh. No handcuffs, no struggling desperated prisoners pointing middle fingers here and there, nothing. In fact, there was NOBODY there. O.o I stole a look at the time. 9.55a.m. Awesome. The "judge" ain’t here yet.

So I waited. 10.00am, 10.05am, 10.10am, 10.15am. I was still waiting.

And whoooooo, all 7 people in blazers came in. 6 interpretors, 1 majistret. And still the damn hearing’s not starting yet. The 6 interpretors were seen riffling through endless heaps of papers, while muttering to themselves. I glanced at the time, again. 10.20am.

Finally, the damned hearing began. I was there early, so it was only natural I was one of the first few to be heard.

me: …

Interpretor No. 2: Anda faham?

me: ya.

Interpretor No. 2: Anda Foo K*** F***???

me: … Anak perempuan dia.

Interpretor No. 2: Anda mengaku salah?

me: … ya.

Interpretor: Ada apa-apa rayuan?

me: … Rayuan untuk kurangkan denda.

Majistret: RM120.

me: …100_1027

<== Anyway this is the receipt, which I got from the same malay woman who told me to go upstairs in the first place.

All in all, it was one helluva boring experience. Only good thing about it was that dad gave me 300 bucks just in case, and now I get to keep the left over 180 bucks. =p

so the moral of this pointless post is: people, pay your goddamn summonses ASAP. ^^

/me goes pay the rest of her summonses NOW.

You’ve gotta be joking…

January 17th, 2008 by mendokusai-onna

As of now, it’s January 17th, 2008, 10.32pm.

My STPM results were announced sometime during March, 2007. So, it’s been 10 months. 10 bloody months.

And guess what? I just received an offer letter from UUM 2 weeks ago. After I’ve appealed to all of those local universities, got ridiculed by my parents and was reminded constantly that my STPM results were so horrible that no universities in their right mind would want to offer me a place at all, UUM actually had the NERVE to send a letter to me, offering me a place for Business studies for January intake.

Of course, anybody would’ve accepted that offer in an instant, won’t they? =3

I took the letter to my room, and tore it.

Selfish… Or Selfless?

January 16th, 2008 by mendokusai-onna

My dad just got a summon today.

Well, that’s not surprising, since lately me and my dad are competing to see who got the most summonses, and who refuses to pay most of the time.

However, this is a S-U-M-M-O-N, as in those kinds that orders you to be present in court. O_o Christ. In other words… the government ain’t joking when they said those who don’t pay summonses are required to attend an inquiry thingamajib in court. Shit. I’ve got like a hundred over bucks worth of summonses in my pocket currently. Shit.

Anyway, my dad asked me to consult a lawyer on how to avoid going to court. What’s more, he wants ME to tell them that I was the one required to go to court, not him.

Now I’m in a sorta dilemma. It’s painfully obvious he’s trying to land the blame on me, (and partly it’s kinda my fault too, since I think I may have collected more summonses than him), so it’d be justified if I just do as I was told to, like a good girl. But on the other hand…

WHY should I do it? WHY?

I know it’s the duty of every child to protect their parents and such, since they’ve showered you with love practically since the day you were born, blah blah blah, but… lately, I’m having issues with my dad. I’ve not actually forgiven him for what he did to me several weeks ago, in which he slapped me for attempting to fetch my brother home, but failed to, since he already fetched him home, and was pissed at me for not telling him that I was gonna fetch him, which is FULLY my idiotic brother’s fault for NOT telling me that dad was gonna fetch him. Nope. I don’t think I’ll ever forgive him for that.

So… WHY should I? I dunno. I think I’d better go pay some of my summonses, else we’d BOTH end up in court, then… it’s gonna be a lose-lose situation, ain’t it? =p

Uzumaki

January 1st, 2008 by mendokusai-onna

As some Otaku readers might have noticed a few weeks ago… there was this manga review on "Uzumaki", which tells the story of a town going berserk obsessed with spirals.

In my very, very, VERY humble opinion, DO NOT READ THIS MANGA AT ALL COSTS. It will freak the daylights out of anyone. I’m serious here.

But then again, some of you are just so bloody inquisitive… so here goes.

Volume 1

  • The Spiral Obsession Part 1 - High school student Kirie
Goshima finds out that her boyfriend Shuichi is worried about his
father, who has begun a strange obsession about spirals. He collects
anything featuring a spiral pattern, and eventually he stops going to
work to stay at home and stare at his spiral collection. His obsession
becomes so disturbing that he starts to use his own body to create
    spirals.
  • The Spiral Obsession Part 2 - After he dies in a strange
suicide, Shuichi’s father’s body is cremated, but during the funeral,
the smoke from the cremation forms a spiral shape in the sky,
consequently driving Shuichi’s mother to insanity. She develops a
phobia of spirals and starts to rid herself of everything in her body
    that looks like a spiral.
  • The Scar - Kirie’s class friend Azami asks Kirie if she can
meet Shuichi. Although hesitant, Kirie agrees, but when they go to
Shuichi’s house something weird happens: Shuichi feels a sinister
presence coming from Azami’s forehead, and Azami reveals that she has a
crescent-moon shaped scar which she believes has the power to make any
boy fall in love with her. However, Shuichi suspects that the scar is
causing terrible effects in Azami, and is proven right.
  • The Firing Effect - For some reason, the bowls, pots and
vases that Kirie’s father, a potter, creates in his workshop are
turning into hideous failures featuring spiral patterns and the faces
of people who have recently died in the city of Kurozu.
  • Twisted Souls - Kirie meets a former classmate who has
recently been having a problem with his girlfriend’s family. It seems
that both families of the couple are in a constant and aggressive feud,
and do not agree to let their kids date. Kirie decides to help her
friend and his girl to escape from their parents, but the story ends in
    a grotesque way.
  • Medusa - Kirie’s hair begins to grow unusually, and when
Kirie goes to cut it, the hair comes to life and refuses to be cut. It
starts to control Kirie, forcing her to seek the attention of everybody
in the town. The problem worsens when Kirie’s classmate, Sekino,
becomes jealous and decides that her hair should have the same gift.

  Volume 2

  • Jack-in-the-Box - Kirie is being stalked by a boy named
Mitsuru, who likes to jump out and surprise people, which gained him
the nickname Jack-in-the-Box. When Kirie refuses to be his girlfriend,
Mitsuru decides to prove his love by trying to stop a speeding car.
However, Mitsuru is killed and he is buried because the town is now
afraid to cremate bodies. Kirie still has no peace, as she receives a
strange message that Mitsuru will come back from his grave.
  • Snail People - A classmate of Kirie’s starts to behave
strangely: He only goes to school when it is raining and he walks and
talks in an oddly slow way. Also, he has a big and strange
spiral-shaped scar in his back. It’s only the beginning of a bizarre
epidemic that makes people turn into giant, mutant snails.
  • Dark Lighthouse - The lighthouse of Koruzu begins to switch
on by itself mysteriously. Anyone who is caught by its light is blinded
and caused to walk in circles. Some people of the town decide to go
there to investigate, including Kirie’s brother Mitsuo and his friends.
Kirie goes to bring her brother and the others back from the building,
but as she enters she faces the terrible truth about the lighthouse.
  • Mosquitoes - Admitted to the hospital due to the burnings
made by the lighthouse’s light, Kirie discovers a body drained of blood
on hospital grounds. Later, Kirie’s pregnant cousin Keiko moves into
her room in the hospital after suffering an attack from a swarm of mosquitoes.
At first everything seems normal, but one night Kirie discovers that
her cousin, as well other pregnant women, have a dark secret which is
    related to the mosquitoes.
  • Umbilical Cord - The pregnant women finally give birth to
adorable babies. To Kirie’s relief they all look normal, but after a
strange accident she discovers that she is mistaken, and that the
babies are as dangerous as their mothers.
  • Typhoon 1 - When a typhoon passes by Koruzu, Kirie is caught
by the typhoon’s eye and somehow, the typhoon falls in love with her
and begins to stalk her everywhere, causing horrible damage. Shuichi
    then appears to protect Kirie.

 Volume 3

Volume 3 contains the final 6 chapters, plus an extra chapter that forms an epilogue with a story connecting to Volume 1.

  • Haunted Apartment - After the typhoon destroyed much of the
city including Kirie’s house, Kirie moves into a previously abandoned
apartment provided by the town officer with her family. It happens that
the apartment is an old shack in bad conditions. Her neighbors are a
young man with the secret habit as a peeping tom named Wakabayashi, and
a mysterious couple of mother and son. Everyone living in the apartment
starts to catch a strange skin disease. The disease will only get worse
and lead to a horrible outcome.
  • Butterfly - Maruyama Chie, an anchor girl comes at the town
with her co-workers in a van, only to be chased after by a typhoon.
Only Chie survives the car crash and she travels into the town seeing
ruins and dead bodies everywhere. Now the townpeople realize they can
create twisters with nothing more than a sudden movement or a strong
exhalation of air. It appears that the previously abandoned apartments
around the town is the only sort of shelters not destroyed by twisters,
so every apartment becomes crowded and tension amongst dwellers
tightens. Some naughty kids group up to destroy the town for fun,
creating twisters only by blowing wind.
  • Chaos - The gangsters and some young men form a gang called
‘Butterfly’. They destroy buildings for fun and rob food from rescue
teams. Snail people begin to appear again after long unseen. The
apartments become more and more crowded and people begin to quarrel
with one another without proper causes. By helping Shuichi from a
conflict with another man, Kirie’s family is casted out from the
apartment. As they wander to find a new place to shelter, they witness
the Butterfly gang having snail people as a meal. They say snail
people’s meat is delicious and persuade Kirie to join their meal.
  • Chaos Part 2 - Several groups of town-people try to escape
from the town, but all end in failure. The apartments become overly
occupied until they crash into pieces of wood. As food runs out, some
begin to eat snail people’s meat left over by the Butterfly gang.
Shuichi eats it and tell Kirie to take some. Kirie finally finds
Mitsuo, her brother who has lost along with her mother and father since
the last twister, only to discover the horrible truth.
  • Escape - Kirie’s group make another attempt to escape for
now Mitsuo’s transforming to be a snail and other town-people are
desperate for food. They seem to find no way out of the town and Mitsuo
finally transforms. Kirie forces her now snail brother to flee away
    from the hungry townpeople.
  • Labyrinth - Kirie’s group finally comes out of the woods
only to discover that they have returned to the town. They also
discover that several years have passed while they were away, and the
remaining townspeople have repaired and expanded all the old
apartments, revealing that they connect together form a giant
spiral-shaped labyrinth with the lake at its center. Shuichi theorises
that the strange events have happened again and again through the ages,
always ending with the rebuilding of the spiral apartments. After all
is over, the apartments are slowly ruined and all traces vanish, and a
new town is built. The reason why no-one knows of this is because all
the people have vanished after the events.
  • Ruin - Kirie, Shuichi and Chie follow the labyrinth to its
center, but Chie is trapped by some of the now spiral-shaped people who
live in the apartments, and Kirie and Shuichi must continue without
her. When they reach the center, they discover that the lake has dried
up has been replaced by a long spiral-shaped stairwell that goes deep
into the earth. Without any other choice, they follow the stairs and
discover a huge cave with a lot of gigantic, spiral-shaped towers and
buildings, with a huge, glowing spiral-shaped stone in the center. They
find all the corpses spiral-shaped inhabitants of the towns, who have
begun to turn to stone, Kirie’s parents included. Shuichi is wounded
after an earlier attack, and is unable to leave the cave, and asks
Kirie to leave him. Kirie refuses and decides to stay with him. As they
hug each other, their arms become spirals that bind them together. The
stairwell begins to close, thus imprisoning Kirie and Shuichi and
ending the spiral curse for now, only to return later, when a new town
    is built around the lake.
  • Lost chapter: Galaxies - Strange-looking radio galaxies
are discovered in the night sky, which begin to have strange effects on
the residents of the town. Judging by the length of Kirie’s hair, this
story takes place sometime before Medusa.

What Have I Done?

December 29th, 2007 by mendokusai-onna

… 1 more day till the end of year 2007. What have I actually done? Well a lot actually…

1. Got my ass kicked both as a waitress and a clerk…
2. Got rejected by all local Universities in this country.
3. Got into a course I didn’t really want, but was forced to anyway.
4. Enrolled myself in two awesome clubs.
5. Pissing my parents off from March till now.
6. Gotten myself a baka hentai, ecchi, perverted, tactless, shameless, useless (or so he claims), but nevertheless AWESOME boyfriend.
7. Lost the most important chapter of my life - my friends.

I’m having exams tomorrow… (since technically, it’s 30th Dec now), and yet I can absorb nothing at all. Lately my thoughts were rather disturbed.

I know I’ve done a terrible thing to them whom I’ve called friends by publishing a previous post of mine (which I’ve removed, btw), and much as I wanted to, I can’t turn back time. I know it’s a lame excuse, but I was pretty much emotionally-stressed lately, and I dunno, I sorta snapped and went berserk. I said things I never should’ve said, and *poof*. 8 years of friendship gone with the wind.

Yesterday, out of courtesy for this friend who just got back from Australia, I agreed to go out with "them" for the whole night. Things were pretty much as I expected them to be, but dreading it nonetheless. The atmosphere was tense. 2 of them weren’t talking to me, and the few that did were pretty much forcing themselves to. Well I’m not complaining, since I brought these unto myself. But… I dunno. It could’ve been just myself unable to face them or talk to them, which gives me the illusion they’re cold-shouldering me.

I think this was my first time I’ve actually talked so little, felt so awkward, and spaced out so much in any outing at all with "them". Many times I wanted to laugh, wanted to tease, wanted to facepalm, but I didn’t. I think it’s just my foolish pride stubborness.

The car-trip back was a rather silent one. Since my brilliant dad conveniently grabbed my car for servicing, I had to hitch-hike. I wanted to go home so badly, but I know I had to stick it through.

I received an envelope right before lee left. I broke down immediately after opening it. Out fell a note and two pictures. Two pictures of the seven of us (Tippy included), taken at my house, a few days after the very much belated birthdays of a few of us.

I don’t wanna lose them. I don’t wanna lose them. I don’t wanna lose them.

Last Regrets

I won’t say "Thank you,"
I’ll always keep it inside.
Goodbyes aren’t gloomy.
After a dream, I will quietly step off.

The fragments that rain into my hands,
I will always hold close
The strength to be smiling until the end;
that, I have already known.

Good morning; awakening is
blindingly bright sadness.
I cannot let you say goodbye,
our weakness was good to have been.

The gentleness that overflowed in us,
let be reflected, like flowers, like love.
The quietness of low clouds waiting for the winds…
I can no longer hear it.

The fragments that rain into my hands,
I will always hold close
The strength to be smiling until the end;
that, I have already known.

I won’t cry anymore, I won’t cry…

This is dedicated to those who were my friends. I’m truly sorry for what I’ve done (more like what I’ve wrote), but… like you said, apologies don’t work anymore. So whatever it is, I will accept it.

Take care, and I hope to meet you all again in the next life.
